The light at the end of the tunnel

Clarence, NSW, Australia

The path to our destination is not always a common one. We may go down the wrong road, but as we fall as one, our shadows unite, and open, moving toward the tunnel, into lustrous radiance. There the portal stretches out, and focuses toward the silver sky. Light comes and goes; darkness always is. Find the light. Reach up for it. When the path ignites the track of the soul, there is no remaining place, because what matters, is that we embark towards it. - Nadia Fortuna

I took this photo on the weekend. It was so hot in Australia (43 degrees C) but so nice and cool in this tunnel, as crazy dark and creepy as it was. This is a 63 second exposure to the detail in the shadows. I actually spent about half an hour down there taking multiple exposures, however settled on this single exposure in the end.
