The WandererThe WandererI dont usually take phtoos of people, but I think this one tells a capturing story

I don't usually include people in my landscapes, but I think this one tells a capturing story. I managed to get the focal length just right to place the seagull in shot and get his footprints curving nicely in the sand. We didn't stop to chat, I wonder where he was going.....

Promising SunshinePromising SunshineBeautiful one day perfect the next.. Well not quite. But it got there in the end.

Beautiful one day, perfect the next... Well so they say. This is the view from Fingal head in New South Wales looking up the coast toward Coolangatta Queensland. It has been quite a few days of rain, but has made for some interesting skies. I have enjoyed my stay so far and today was a beautiful sunny day. Hope you all had a great easter break.

Magenta Dreams - Kingscliff, NSW, AustraliaMagenta Dreams - Kingscliff, NSW, AustraliaWas very glad I got up this morning. Another rainy start but the sky lit up pink for 10mins

Was very happy I dragged myself out of bed in the dark while raining again. I left a little late so was racing to the beach as the sky were turning while I was half way there. I found this place by looking on google earth for rocks along the beach, they always make for a some nice foreground. The beautiful colours didn't last long, but that didn't stop me hanging around shooting for over an hour. So many photo Opportunities in the Gold Coast region. Lovin' it.

Giants Rising - Fingal Head, NSW, AustraliaGiants Rising - Fingal Head, NSW, AustraliaSunrise at the beautiful Giants Causeway in Fingal Head by David Roma Photography

Sunrise at the beautiful Giants Causeway in Fingal Head. I was so stoked to get back to this location after a quick visit last year. I left in the drizzle in the rain. By the time I got there, it was pouring... Made for an uncomfortable walk our the sandy path with all my gear huddled under the umbrella. I was really regretting leaving the nice warm bed thinking I would not even see the sun. Taking a few shots awkwardly from under the umbrella I was glad to see the sky start to break up, yay, I will actually get to see the sun!

I love how the light shines across the top of the rocks in this shot. Its actually a single exposure at 1 second. I do have another shot with a longer exposure, but I prefer the extra movement and interest in this one. I hope you all have a fantastic Easter holiday. Expect to see some more seascapes from the 'not so sunny' Gold Coast...

Simple Sunrise - Bathurst, NSW, Australia

Simple Sunrise - Bathurst, NSW, AustraliaSimple Sunrise - Bathurst, NSW, AustraliaA simple sunrise over bathurst this morning.

Sometimes simple is the most beautiful. After a few days of waking up, seeing no high cloud and going back to sleep, I thought I would actually get up and shoot regardless. No wide angle full of pink clouds, no leading lines or interesting foreground. Just a simple composition of that big bright disc in the sky... Good morning all.
