Country NSW Canola fields 2016
Simplicity - Threatening clouds over bright canola fields
The Golden Life - A 6 image panorama of the bright canola fields rolling green hills and a shed with silos.
On the move - I took some shots with the truck in focus and motion blur of the landscape, but I prefer this shot where everything is clear taken at 1250th of a second. I love how the truck looks lost in a sea of yellow.
Standing Tall - Windmill with canola fields on a rainy day.
Well that might do me for a while. Would love to know which one is your favorite... Jupiters Casino
Jupiters Hotel and Casino, Broadbeach, Gold Coast, QLD, Australia. Surfers Paradise by night
I was going through old photos and realised I had a bunch of Gold Coast photos I have never shared. This one is the beautiful cityscape of Surfers Paradise from Evandale park at night. Its a 2.5 min exposure, I love how you can see the flight path of the plane coming in. I would have walked 15kms easy that night with all my gear.. Gift from above
New holland honey eater in a Gymea Lily. It's been a while since I have shared a wildlife shot. This one was taken some time ago. Now that it's warming up a little I look forward to getting out and getting more shots like this. I can still remember how quick these birds were and difficult to capture. This was the luckiest shot, the sun was setting and looked epic on this massive Gymea Lily. I framed up the shot and to my delight this little honey eater landed perfectly in frame :) Kalang Falls
Kanangra-Boyd National Park, NSW, Australia
These spectacular falls are a fairly short steep walk from the carpark at the Kanangra Walls car park. I can’t believe I have never made it out here before. They are spectacular at the moment, not sure how they normally look. There is a fair bit of rough dirt on the way out, with quite a few wallabies and other wildlife to look out for. There are some nice lookouts on the walk out and the falls themselves have a nice secluded feel to them. There are epic falls you can see off in the distance…. might have to do some research :) |
