This bee gives some context to the small size of these flowers.

These flowers are very rare to see in the wild. They require rainfall a year after bushfire to germinate. Believed to be a once in a lifetime event to see them in a given location.

The Dish

CSIRO Parkes Radio Telescope was completed in 1961 and was recently added to the Australian National Heritage List. It was used to receive live tv images from the Apollo 11 Moon landing and made famous in the movie "The Dish".
